Uveitis
Uveitis encompasses a diverse group of eye conditions, all of which cause inflammation inside the eye. Uveitis can affect one or both eyes and may cause eye redness, pain, light sensitivity, floaters, or blurred vision. It can occur secondary to systemic autoimmune diseases or infections; however, in many cases, the cause is unknown. Uveitis is often a chronic condition, and treatment is tailored to the individual patient.
